The James T. Kay Company

       The James T. Kay Co. is a 138 year old mechanical contracting company. It is centrally located in Meriden, Connecticut, providing plumbing, heating, air conditioning, and process piping through out the state.

        Because of our strong bonding capacity the company is able to work on a broad range of jobs, from small service work to multi million dollar projects in which it serves business, industry, institutions and utilities, both public and private.

        The approach to the business is driven by the philosophy that it must serve all the needs of its clients, no matter how large or small.

        The staff consists of nine office personnel headed by President Beverly O'Donal who works in conjunction with Executive Vice President, Robert Berkmoes. 

         The company's Vice President of Operations, Steven Theriault, oversees the project management staff and supervises the daily operation of on-going projects. All project managers are responsible for their assigned construction projects and report to the Vice President of Operations on a weekly basis.

         The estimating staff is out fitted with the latest computerized equipment that assures fast and accurate estimates.

         The latest in-house CAD equipment streamlines coordination and is a real asset to design/ build projects.
